As with any skill set, the more frequently that skill is performed, the more proficient one becomes. Since our nurses perform more laser skin treatments than any other group in the area, they are proficient at providing the best results for our clients. Most other laser centers utilize “technicians” to perform laser treatments. These “technicians” could have been a hair stylist or make-up specialist in their previous job.
The other distinct Monarch advantage has to do with the way lasers are manufactured. Because laser manufacturers are typically selling to small doctor’s offices that cannot afford to buy 3 or 4 different lasers for each skin application, manufacturers are designing their lasers with the capacity to perform 3 or more applications (i.e. laser hair removal, tattoo removal, spider vein removal, etc). While this is cost effective for the doctor’s offices and med spas, it is not beneficial for the client since different manufacturers have varying specialties. For example, the best hair removal laser manufacturer does not make the best tattoo removal laser.
